PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong understanding of accounting process, month end close, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare monthly balance sheet, income statement, and projections for multiple different entities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger
- Oversee treasury administration including cash management and forecasting
- Manage bank draws and payment of invoices
- Manage the annual audit process
- Manage home building insurance requirements and annual insurance audits
- Projects assigned by CFO or Senior Management
- General understanding of payroll and payroll reporting
- Manage the tax process for all tax returns that are prepared by our outside CPA firm
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA required
- 5+ years experience in accounting, preferably in home building
- QuickBooks and Brix software experience a plus
- Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage several companies
