The Company is currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to achieve sales and closing goals through business development activities and hiring and managing a Sales Team.

General Responsibilities:
  • Directly manage On-site Sales Counselors
  • Ensure sufficient and high-performance staffing of Sales Team; recruit and hire as needed
  • Review and verify CMAs monthly
  • Build brand awareness with realtors, businesses, major employers, relocation companies and other potential affiliates in the area
  • On-board and train new hires; conduct sales office orientations
  • Provide on-going training through site visits and team meetings
  • Assist sales team acting as first point of contact for questions and issues; elevate when required
  • Monitor and manage the division Sales Teams HubSpot CRM performance; report performance to management as requested
  • Assist with resolving contract issues and conflicts with realtors and/or
  • Work with Sales Team and preferred lenders to ensure capture rate goals are achieved
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • Experience managing a team of sales professionals
  • Minimum of five years new home sales experience for a production homebuilder with proven track record of success
  • Brix and Hubspot experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of sales, management and motivational techniques
  • Experience with and understanding of processes of the production homebuilding industry
  • Project positive image of the Company in a professional manner with appropriate tact, habits, appearance, personal integrity, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn and grow
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to work with a flexible schedule which may include more than 40 hours per week including weekends
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and proof of state minimum auto liability insurance
  • Able to perform essential functions of job with or without a reasonable accommodation
