Senior Purchasing Agent
The Senior Purchasing Agent will be responsible for supporting all tasks within the purchasing department, including building relationships with trade partners to better position the company both internally and externally, managing information in Brix, bidding new plans, supporting operations in the field, and assisting in permitting and the starts process.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for maintaining and supporting specific trades, including, but not limited to, bidding, analyzing, and finalizing costs
· Supporting the implementation of various procedures across the company
· Implementing new procedures and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance
· Rationalizing existing data for more efficient methods
· Execute various aspects of the new job start process to include preliminary budget review, building change orders, building design packets, permitting jobs, etc.
· Ad Hoc projects
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 (three) year of experience in the home building industry is preferred
· Strong computer skills with a high emphasis on Microsoft Excel
· Detail-oriented and organized
· Ability to review and manage multiple forms of data
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Usage of Home Building software required. BRIX experience is strongly preferred
· Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
